Take the Tram has been retweaked and slightly accelerated for maximum dancefloor impact. Described as Like Kraftwork with a sense of Humour this track has become an anthem of Berlin Club Culture and already inflamed dancefloors worldwide. Originally released as part of the Bad Girlz “Build Back Badder”album, the vinyl version was just waiting for a fitting B side, so it was decided that a Banging Bass version of Wotcha Braincells feat Scallywag would be ideal and so the mix was created. The Album artwork is inspired by the rather individual tiling used in Berlin U-Bahn stations, in this case Hermanplatz, and was recreated by Feenix 13; The cut as always guaranteed fat by Shane @ Finyl Tweek

2023 release by Ixindamix on her own Audiotrix label! This E.P is entitled Pillar to Post as all tracks are recorded live from the last Liveset which was played in the period post pandemic up until a few months ago when I switched back to a machine Live. “From Pillar to post” is a British Idiom, If someone goes from Pillar to Post they are forced to keep moving from one place to another and describes well the feeling I had getting back into an extra heavy gigging routine after the relative calm of the Pandemic. The Live was played with Ableton, using the soft Synths ACE by U-HE and TWIN by Fab Filter and various controllers which I wrote my own scripts for using CONTROL SURFACE STUDIO by Remotify. credits

Swarm Intelligence continues to push techno into unchartered territories with a bold new self-titled EP and label that launches in early 2022. This new EP explores emergent technology and dystopian themes. Autonomous weaponry is hinted at in the title of the first two tracks before the resultant human resilience of 'The Glory Is You,' and finally AI's awakening and gaining of sentience on 'Edge of Chaos'. Opener 'Lethality' is an intense and arresting weapon. Slamming kicks and frosty synths create a wall of impenetrable techno sound that will strike fear into any dance floor. 'Slaughterbot' is just as punishing and dark. Mangled vocals are locked in a prison of caustic synths and tortured drums as a post-apocalyptic meltdown plays out all around. There is subtle drum funk to 'The Glory Is You' that lifts you above the drama. Lithe kicks bring a sense of energy as haunting sequences, bright stabs and fizzing synths weave their way in and out of the mix. The brain-frying 'Edge of Chaos' closes down with monstrous effects, laser-like synths firing across the track and seriously weighty and distorted drums powering things along. Swarm Intelligence is the sound of an unknown techno future made brilliantly real. Originally released April 4, 2022

Swarm Intelligence’s unique take on industrial techno is back, with the second instalment on his self-titled label, coming this November. Fiercely intense, dramatic and cutting-edge, Swarm Intelligence’s distinctive take on techno has garnered him a solid following amongst the true underground of the scene. Following on from the widely supported launch of his label, SWRM002 is a striking next step – a testament to the quiet confidence of a skilled artist unafraid to eschew norms and carve his own path. This second EP continues to draw inspiration from dystopian themes of new and imagined technologies and their resulting societal impact. ‘Critical Signal’ was produced during the global pandemic, and iteratively refined over the following years. Grinding basses and tense atmospherics sit atop a thunderous four-to-the-floor. Its message to humanity is as relevant now as it was then – “you are resilient, you will prevail”. In ‘Mass Disinformation’ a visceral, bleak and unsettling sonic landscape punctuated by a slamming groove is an apt metaphor for the psychological warfare being unleashed on the world today. Opening the B-side, the uplifting glory of ‘Digital Immortality’ lifts the tone of the release. Here, Swarm’s signature...Originally released November 20, 2023

Pure has released highly diverse music with different projects for over 25 years - distorted Acid on Drop Bass Network, industrial hardcore on Praxis, heavy techno on Ophism, Experimental Electronics on Editions Mego, and dark broken beats on aufnahme+wiedergabe, to name just a few. With his latest e.p. he delivers three tracks in the classic hardcore rave style of mid 90s Things To Come Records - distorted 909, analogue rave sounds and disturbing voice samples. The release comes with two remixes - label owner The Horrorist adds one with a strong 80s New Wave vibe and Temple Traxx owner Bizz O.D. turns the heavy rave original into a distorted funky acid killer.
