Who we are:
Praxis is a label dedicated to experimental hardcore and radical breaks which was founded in 1992 in London. The first two 12" records came out at the end of that year, the Scaremonger EP and 'Knee-Jerk Reaction' by Bourbonese Qualk. These contributed to and commented on the rising techno and rave scene, coming from a background of experimental post punk and industrial music. Soon the label expanded and explored experimental hardcore, electronic weirdness, breakcore, speedcore and noise.
Since then there has been a steady stream of releases and activities, which we continue today and into the future from our base in Berlin. We have many many plans for this year, for releases as well as live events, as well as for publishing activities that go well beyond those of a 'record label'.
This shop is the primary outlet for traditional-format releases by the label, its associates and the wider network we are involved with as well as other items and productions of experimental electronic music and radical literature. This includes many exclusive titles and limited editions.

Original pressing of the 1990 classic.Used copy that was played a lot, but still sounds fine except some pops and clicks right at the beginning of the Babylon track. So while Babylon is between G+ and VG, Helter Skelter is more like VG+. Both sides have some straight hairlines that appear from taking the record out of the sleeve. There are signs that it was DJed a lot, but still a decent copy.
Original pressing of this Test Dept. LP from 1989 in VG+.A bit of surface wear on A2, otherwise minimal, plays perfectly.
Long deleted collaboration between Karkowski and Rehberg on Tochnit Aleph! Used copy in VG+ Back in stock!
First vinyl record by BQ from 1983.Vinyl is in near perfect condition, but cover is not so nice - bent corners, a bit of ring wear and around the edges. See image. Feel free to make an offer!
Original pressing of the excellent compilation LP - we got a near mint copies back in stock, the sleeve has minor storage wear, but in overall excellent condition! Great retrospective of the cult band from 1982-1990.

Classic hardcore from the Napalm crew on Epiteth. Original pressing from 1996. Used copy.Has some light surface wear and hairlines, but sounds good and plays well. Some wear on sleeve - light ring wear.

Original 4x10" vinyl box set version of this 1995 production. All on clear vinyl. Used copy. Mostly excellent condition but some pops and clicks in the more quiet parts here and there. There are some fingerprints on some labels as well as, oddly, a footprint on one of the inner sleeves. Presumably the previous owner stepped on it while spinning the record as no such damage on any of the vinyl. The box itself has some wear with the two sides lightly inward bent. Overall still a great copy.
