The intent is to challenge mediocrity, to ask questions about the whole notion of techno as merely a form of debauched escapism. The music also asks questions about destructiveness and apathy. Kareem on his own Zhark imprint with a more slowed down instrumental hip hop approach, something that in the past was usually reserved for the Ramadan sublabel. Nice atmospheres and rhythms, album length (with extra tracks on the digital version).
