2016 release on Fresh 86 with some slamming electro-grime beats

Mécanosphère (Portugal / France /...) Mécanosphère is a transnational morphing line-up art & life project formed by Benjamin Brejon (drums / instrument circuit / lyrics) and Adolfo Luxúria Canibal (vocals / lyrics) at the turn of the year 00's. Mécanosphère's language is: dubbed sonic, cinematic soundscapes with a polyglot text. Informed by Radio broadcasts, science-fiction literature, war reports, ruins of hiphop, ghosts of jazz, echoes of sound poetry, collage art, rock and roll, and parallel noise. The 2003 self-titled debut album is a straightforward rough, low fi rhythms-bass-voice manifesto. Mécanosphère acts like the seminal installation of the group’s obsessive, recurrent, set of sound and images which the other records explore more carefully by facets. For the 20th anniversary of their inception, which is the first part of a tryptich, Skin And Speech decided to release the first vinyl version of this undiscovered gem. 180 grams heavy and re-mastered by Alex Buess. The vinyl contains 7 tracks. Purchasers of the vinyl also get the whole album digitally as a free download.

Used copy in excellent condition. One sided LP on Alga Marghen

LABEL INFO: In the heart of the cosmos, a tale unfolds. It begins with "My Space," where ethereal synths weave a cosmic tapestry, guiding you through distant galaxies. As you journey further, "Satan" emerges, beckoning you to dance with the darkness itself, under the canopy of sadistic beats. Venturing deeper into the EP, "Get Stupid" takes you to an enigmatic dimension, where gravity-defying rhythms entice you to embrace your wildest instincts. In "Yallah" the atmosphere shifts, transporting you to a mystical oasis where sonic mirages shimmer in the desert of sound. And just when you thought the adventure reached its pinnacle, "Can't Get Enough" mesmerizes with its infectious grooves, leaving you irresistibly addicted to the sonic enchantment. Turns out Coco Bryce is more than just a hot piece of man meat. On "My Space" this enigmatic master of sound once again harnesses the forces of the universe to craft five enthralling compositions. His boundless creativity and passion for exploration shine through in every beat, taking you on a euphonic jungle expedition like no other. Ultra limited hand made sleeve version by Nomex's legendary drill turntable 7"! Made by Nomex himself, there were very few copies of this release with hand made covers. Some were collages from 80s/90s British porn magazines (incl. the censorship which was prevelant then), other were in rough packing paper. The cover of the one copy I'm selling here is from contact pages of a porn magazine. A second copy looks similar but promises "Reader's home recordings" and "Uncensored Sex Stories" etc. A third copy we have available is in the brown paper bag/wrapper variety. Note that the full amount of this sale (if you buy the record) goes into the production cost of Nomex's posthumous 'Paroxism EP' (more info will be linked here soon) The 7" is in NM condition, probably unplayed, and has no signs of use.

First ep on Frenesia is by label creator Zumal to set its foundations. Diagnosis tries to express the mistrust and the unborn rebellion towards this paradoxical world where the right ones are often unheard and good people and the author struggle to mantain their self-control and sanity. In the meanwhile the system is always on the edge of collapse and the dystopia keeps evolving. Prejudices, envy and fake respectability are always a constant. The ep is flavored with intricated rhythms, incisive sounds and odd atmospheres with an industrial oriented A-side and a more technoid B-side and it contains 2 remixes by the sound sculptors Blush Response and Sirio Gry J. <iframe style="border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=2897528994/size=large/bgcol=333333/linkcol=e32c14/tracklist=false/artwork=small/transparent=true/" seamless><a href="https://frenesia.bandcamp.com/album/diagnosis">Diagnosis by Zumal</a></iframe>

PRE-SALE of Praxis 60 - Nomex: Paroxism EP. important: special early bird price only till the end of June 2024!! Noise artist and film maker Paul Kidd aka Nomex was behind some iconic experimental releases of the 90s, mainly on his own Adverse label, exploring the nature of physical nature of noise and vinyl, his preferred medium. Several of his records explored and articulated this interaction, such as Adverse 1 (A Moment in Eternity/Language of Dissatisfaction) - a needle playing the label, Desiring E.P.2 (Adverse 3) - a drill used as turntable, and Are You Anything More Than Just A Product of Your Influence? (Adverse 12) - dual parallel groove cut on 16rpm and 78rpm. Other works veer into sound collage and beat destruction, such as The Bruitist Shaper, and Trocante Gramofony E.P. He also experimented with extreme noise frequencies at live gigs, some of which were documented on a series of CDRs on Adverse in 1997 (all of these have now been uploaded to our YouTube channel). Important to mention are also his collaborations with DJ Scud with the two classic 7"s Eurostar/Piling Machine and Total Destruction on the Maschinenbau label, both re-released by Praxis on one 12" in 2018. Ever since his 1999 release Trocante Gramofony EP (Praxis 33), there had been talk about doing a follow up and around 2010-2011 Nomex indeed worked on an album for Praxis, the material for which was finished, but not compiled at the time of his death in 2014. We compiled it as close as possible to what we think his intentions would have been and as to be expected it's a killer noise album! The record will be pressed in a limited and numbered edition with a hand stamped label and sleeve as well as a 30x30cm cover graphic/poster inlay and postcard in an edition of 100-150 copies. Finer details of this may yet change/vary as we're figuring out the production cost and details. The image depicts the 30x30cm print insert. Details might slightly vary. A download code for digital tracks will be included. We're looking at an August 1st 2024 release, more details will be posted as we move forward with this and other projects. Available for pre-order now at a reduced price of 15 euro for a limited number of orders and only until the end of May 2024. RRP will be €20 once it's out. If you order the record now, it will help us to cover manufacturing costs and to bring the release into existence at the time for the projected release date at the beginning of August. <iframe width="100%" height="350" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" allow="autoplay" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/playlists/1821016461&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true"></iframe><div style="font-size: 10px; color: #cccccc;line-break: anywhere;word-break: normal;overflow: hidden;white-space: nowrap;text-overflow: ellipsis; font-family: Interstate,Lucida Grande,Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Sans,Garuda,Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight: 100;"><a href="https://soundcloud.com/praxisrecords" title="Praxis Records" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">Praxis Records</a> · <a href="https://soundcloud.com/praxisrecords/sets/nomex-paroxism-ep" title="Nomex: Paroxism EP (Praxis 60, Work in Progress)" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">Nomex: Paroxism EP (Praxis 60, Work in Progress)</a></div> If you wish to help us move ahead with this and other releases, consider supporting our 2024 Vinyl Fundraiser campaign on Gofundme HERE IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are already a SUPER-SUBSCRIBER you will receive one copy of this release as part of your subscription. Released as a free 7" in a "official bootleg" style in 1995! Folded sheet sleeve is a bit worn. Record in VG+ condition!

Original sealed copy of the triple vinyl Caustic WIndow compilation from 1998. Never opened/never played! Cover has a bit of storage wear (see scan) Important note: Records packaged in those PVC sleeves are prone to so called "vinyl cancer", which manifests itself in a "foggy" surface. This can affect play a little bit, so even mint records can have some surface noise. In this case I can't see if the records are affected. In other words I can not see any signs of them being affected, but I can't guarantee it. I always recommend to unpack records in PVC sleeves immediately and re-bag them in paper sleeves.

MINT VINYL - STILL SEALED WITH ORIGINAL STICKER!! unfortunately the sleeve doesn't look so nice - other covers have rubbed off on the white parts, and there are some fingerprints on the black. (see picture)

Re-release of M-001 with different label on B side and different tracklisting.

used copy in great condition - would grade it between VG and VG+
