“The Mountaineers” is a short term project that was founded in 1998 by 3 musicians playing together in various other projects, such as Sprawl, Werther/Wittwer, 16-17. This music comes from a very rare live performance in the Reithalle Bern. This 8:52 minutes piece is the only existing document of the explosive formation, in which the guitarist and electronic musician Stephan Wittwer, who sadly died recently, also played. Stephan was very fond of this project and always wanted to revive it, but unfortunately it never happened. We have decided to release this recording as number 000 of our live series in memory of Stephan. The Mountaineers are Stephan Wittwer, Guitars and Electronics Alex Buess, Reeds, CD-Scratch & Electronic Devices Michael Wertmüller, Drums credits released March 14, 2025 Recorded live at Reithalle Bern in June 1998 by Roger Graf Live Mix by Christoph Ali Remastered by Alex Buess

Atlas Kopko was initiated by Markus Jud in 1987 and was at the beginning more of a musical project than a band, a descendant of the group Ix-Ex-Splue with their hypnotic improvisations and meditative noise orgies to experimental industrial/noise rock. This description also fits the current production of Atlas Kopko. Atlas Kopko is a follow-up band to Ix-Ex-Splue, but with an expanded musical vocabulary that additionally includes a strong tendency towards cinematic music. The creative element of improvisation also takes a more subordinated role in Atlas Kopko's new album and, since the recordings made in 1994 were very carefully done, brought the possibility of transferring these over 29 year old recordings into the present time through current mixing and production techniques. Atlas Kopko consists in this production of musicians , who were at that time all involved in the Basel experimental music scene and some still are today . Since the Skin And Speech label was also founded at that time, it became necessary to make this exciting, diverse production accessible to the public.. credits: released January 22, 2024 Atlas Kopko: Markus Jud: Sax and Electronics - Tobi Madörin: E-Bass, Rebab - Role Schmid: Drums Manuel Liebeskind: Guitar, Banjo and Mandolin - Dani Meyer: Electronics - Markus Kneubühler: Synthesizers and Electronics All tracks composed by: Markus Jud Recorded by Alex Buess @ Wolf281 Studios, Basel 1994 Mixed by Markus Jud, 2023 Mastered by Alex Buess @ Wolf281 Studios, Basel 2023 Lacquer Cut by Adi Flück @ Centraldubs, Bern Titles generated by Andreas Kreie Kreienbühl Cover by danilot & PAZ Graphic design and Videoworks by BigRogers

2 years after their debut album on Utech Records, P/O MASSACRE goes deeper in their immersive noise experimentation in this collaboration album with Alex Buess, and Merzbow (Masami Akita 秋田昌美). An architecture of distortion, Moog processors, spring reverb, drone effects and more, then developed in different directions by two electronic/noise veterans. It’s a journey of pure sensation, destruction, and rebirth. A skull-vibrating sound decomposition to your face. For this very reason of searching the limit of frequency and sound structure, we’ve decided to make this album as double 45 rpm vinyl, for a maximum aural experience, cut for vinyl by Frédéric Alstadt at Mont Analogue Masters. As he says: “it’s the cut of the uncuttable”. The visual design and layout are taken care of by the Taiwanese noise builder Chia-Chun Xu (Karma Detonation Tapes), with the artwork from the film destroying artist Tseng Peng-Chieh. Heavy gatefold sleeve, with obi and a bonus CD which includes an exclusive track “Nonslaught” from the same recording session by P/O MASSACRE only. Double album available in two versions: Black vinyl and a colour vinyl edition with one record in marbled green and one in marbled rusty vinyl.

" Membranes is a ghost record by Benjamin Brejon & Jonathan Uliel Saldanha, which is an unfinished non-record. We started it in 2007. And finished it a million times. But never really. I found these mixes in a forgotten cloud and the cassette label "specific interest"decided to release them as they are. But it's just one version and one format. The principle of the dub is the spirit and the replicas. The spirit of a spirit. Substitutions. Not an original master.Remixes of a lost source. Like translating a non-native language into another language, passing things on to others; This vinyl release is a Polaroid image of a zone of sound, rhythms, lyrics, dynamics of an unquantifiable or particular moment in history. It could have been recorded yesterday or tomorrow. Or not recorded at all. This mix has emerged from the abyss." (Benjamin Brejon) The S|S vinyl master once again sheds new light on the sound of some of the mixes previously released on cassette. Mixes from a lost source emerge in new splendor from the abysses of sound. credits released September 13, 2024 MEMBRANES are: Instruments Benjamin Brejon & Jonathan Uliel Saldanha Vocals Adolfo Luxuria Canibal Ivo Machel Mark Stewart Strings Henrique Fernandes (double bass) Mathieu Werchowski (violin) All music by Beast Box (Brejon/Saldanha) ................................................................................................................ The vinyl companion to the CD "The Later After" (adn73), DJ Hidden's "After Before" gathers on a 12" two of the most club-oriented tracks from the album. A deadly tool for any DJ and a sign of many packed dancefloors, these two loud, slowly building, insidious and agile tracks demonstrate DJ Hidden's ability at twisting the very roots of drum'n'bass and fusing them with his own high-fi production and melodic skills.

With the 7th Grade of the Riddim Dub School series, Prince Istari enters Junior High School. Prince Istari returns with his Riddim Dub School series now on 12inch, pushing deeper into the intersection of dub, drum and bass, and sound system culture. This 6-track EP, titled "lessons into drum and bass wise", explores raw rhythms, analog feedbacks, and heavy low-end pressure. The EP starts with a Drum and Bass cut with a One Drop of the DUB ME LOOPY tune from Riddim Dub School 5th Grade. INTIMACY COORDINATOR follows with a heavy Disco Dub. The last track on Side A is LABOUR’S DUB, with deep bass polished through spring reverb. The shakers come in late and push the whole thing forward. Side B begins with GONE TOO SOON from Riddim Dub School 4th Grade, in an alternative version. It’s followed by the most upfront track on the release CONQUERING DUB – brass fanfares and a deep disco rocker beat with minimalistic arrangement. NO DUB INNA DI WRONG ends the 7th Grade with a roots way style. It suggests that dub music doesn't belong to or support negative, corrupt, or unjust actions or spaces. Dub music stays righteous, true, or positive, and doesn’t associate with bad vibes or wrongdoing.
