Our Productions

This section contains all the productions that either came out on our own labels, which are Praxis and Sub/Version, or were either co-productions, which means they were either pressed and distributed by Praxis (such as Low Res and others), or exclusively distributed (such as Cathartic Noize Experience and others). You also find the print productions from datacide and datacide_books/Molehill.

All titles are also listed in their respective sections (e.g. Vinyl/Breakcore).

Collaboration of Rachael Kozak, DJ Controlled Weirdness and Christoph Fringeli on 5 tracks of caustic electro perversion. Recorded in 2001 in Berlin, this shows the different artists from an unusual side. Limited to 500 copies, only few are left now!

Alex Buess, Markus Kneubühler and Christoph Fringeli with a rough mixture of improvised music with a forthright powerful beat & high tech as well as trash electronics. A work of energetic urgency that lives up to its name! From 1989! Mint copies from the label's vaults!

Solo drumtracks by Knut Remond, then drummer of 16-17 (and former member of Voice Crack and UnknownmiX) from 1991. Tribal industrial house dub, the four tracks on the debut EP, simply titled "Vol. 1", were more inspired by the Mohawk insurrection in Quebec the previous year (where Remond was present) than by Manchester, and closer to African Head Charge than the usual House sound.

Side one with 2 wonderful noisescapes by Bambule, side 2 with remixes of 2 different Bambule tracks by Photon Emissions aka Somatic Responses. Mint copy from the label archives.

Mint copy of the massive release! MINT COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1999 release - from the label archives!

'Drumtrax' by 'DJ Jackal' is a classic release from the early teknival days, a multiple name concept that was seeking to push the facelessness of underground techno further - this particular disc was recorded on the dodgiest equipment around the Elephant and Castle area in slightly precarious circumstances. It collects 5 tracks of hard experimental acidic hardcore tekno shit - you know the score! this record was released in 2 different editions, the first being a coloured vinyl one with no additional infos - the second (and it's a copy of this second edition that we're selling here) on black vinyl. Both editions were limited to 500 copies each also available as high quality download in different formats here: http://praxisrecords.bandcamp.com/album/drumtrax-praxis-9

White label copy of the Zipper Spy on HWF. Used copy, VG+ (hence the lower price)

2005 release by the legendary South London bass controller. 4 tracks of excellent hard electro! A1 - South London Bass A2 - Lets Jam AA1 - Bass Rock [Edit] AA2 - Marble Madness

Sub/Version 008 : Vile Enginez : Overthrow/Undermine : 12" Vinyl After his debut "Constant Falling" on Zhark and a string of impressive live shows in Switzerland, Belgium and the U.K., Vile Enginez appears with 2 massive tracks of transgressive drum'n'bass-core for Sub/Version! This is the predecessor of the awesome Cycadelic/Tool on Sub/Version 013. Only a small handful of copies left, all of which are returns from a distributor. Vinyl is mint, but the sleeves are a bit battered. Hence the low price! A - Overthrow (6:21) AA - Undermine (6:50)

Metatron's Speed and Politics EP was an important point for the development of the Praxis sound - let's say the point of departure from tekno to hardcore; but since definitions have shifted since then, the location of the exact goalpoints may be debatable. Nevertheless this record always held its own ground... This is a mint copy from the label vaults - and we're fully aware that you can get this cheaper elsewhere, but kindly ask for your support to press new stuff - in return you get an original copy of this seminal release!

The third installment in the Dirty Needles series features the bassheavy knowledge of The Warlock, Blackmassplastics, Scan One, and The Crooked Man to combine the best of electro and dubstep once again! Officially deleted! we just got a few returns - last copies! A1 - Warlock: It's In My Brain A2 - The Crooked Man: Zoot Shit B1 - Scan One: Providence B2 - Blackmass Plastics: Prime <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8dnRSCbr3iw?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The long awaited return of America's splinter break master- THE SILVER KEY EP on Zhark International A three tracker of ultra tightly edited and produced pummeling against layers of haunting ambience. His compostions showing a new maturity in streamlined elegance.

Out now on Darkmatter Soundsystem, the same people who brought you the dancefloor killing ADC - "Giammarco Fratocchi E.P." , bring you "Bored In The U.S.A." by Minion. A 12" full of Electro - Gabber - DNB - Breakcore - Grime - Dubstep and a little bit of everything else thrown into the blender with emphasis on all things core. The outcome is one of the roughest records to come out of Los Angeles in quite some time. Sure to give any set of speakers a work out. Great for those who like their bass served extra thick and their snares ultra sharp.

Mint copy of Praxis 27 by Christoph Fringeli, original pressing From the label archives!

"A mind trip through devilish labyrinths of a myriad of sound constructions!" Vile Enginez, hailing for Basel, CH, produced his most innovative and complex record yet . Taking up the Sub/Version project of twisting drum n bass and smashing up whatever has become standard for the genre, Vile Enginez bizarre creation clearly demonstrates his masterful production and technical skills. “Cycadelic” might be best described as creating the feeling of a black magic trip spurned on by female power gone mad – this is a track that will push everyone on the dance floor to extremes. “Tool” works perfectly with the dynamic of “Cycadelic” making a forceful totality of this 12” (played at 33 rpm). Hard-hitting beats, crazed ambiences, distorted full powered bass and rhythmic complexities abound ! <iframe width="100%" height="450" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" allow="autoplay" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/playlists/1342981534&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true"></iframe><div style="font-size: 10px; color: #cccccc;line-break: anywhere;word-break: normal;overflow: hidden;white-space: nowrap;text-overflow: ellipsis; font-family: Interstate,Lucida Grande,Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Sans,Garuda,Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight: 100;"><a href="https://soundcloud.com/praxisrecords" title="Praxis Records" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">Praxis Records</a> · <a href="https://soundcloud.com/praxisrecords/sets/vile-enginez-cycadelic-tool" title="Vile Enginez: Cycadelic/Tool" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">Vile Enginez: Cycadelic/Tool</a></div> A - Cycadelic (7:36) B - Tool (8:03)

Slamming Dutch Breakcore for the Teddy Riley on crack in all of us. So-called intelligent dance music is for old ladies and paperboys, improve your groove and get this shit in your earhole QUICK.
