last copies!! Autonomia, first released only on CD in 1993, was mostly a solo project of Simon Crab with the aid of Christoph Fringeli of Praxis, recorded after a 2-month tour in the USA and Europe. Typically Bourbonese Qualk, this album delivers the opposite of the listeners’ expectations, breaking the mold set by the two previous albums, My Government is My Soul and Unpop. Autonomia sets out in a completely different direction of harsh electronic ‘no compromise techno’ and has become a classic in the field, making this vinyl release well overdue! Note that the bandcamp player below features the CD version, not the vinyl mastering (but the same tracks in the same order) <iframe width="480" height="270" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/R1BD6K3sseg" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe style="border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=2265212892/size=large/bgcol=333333/linkcol=e32c14/tracklist=false/artwork=small/transparent=true/" seamless><a href="http://praxisrecords.bandcamp.com/album/autonomia-praxis-5-2">Autonomia (Praxis 5) by Bourbonese Qualk</a></iframe>

DJ Speedyq's: Psychic Shock EP, Dead End Records, DER 004, 1997 Copy from collection/archive in excellent condition!

Rare copy of the limited DJ Promo pressing! From the label vaults! These "DJ PROMO" Editions were pressed in limited runs (usually 250 copies, which was the case with this particular one as well, if I remember right) a few months before the regular editions. This particular copy is almost certainly unplayed, but it has some strange surface marks on the second half of track B2 and the whole track B3. Not from playing or needle, but it looks like a line of scratches, which are thankfully shallow and barely audible (if then in the silent bit between tracks). For this reason this copy is cheaper than normal!

DJ-Y / Obnoxious – Team Wasted 7.2. Back in stock!

1) INTRO # How does Twitter sound? 2) @Paul Virilio creating an audio stream of the ]complete[ Twitter dataflow. Let's start with a simple calculation of volume: 3) # Audio (CD quality) 44.100 Khz X 16 bit X 2 channels = 1.411.200 bits(per second)! 4) @Paul Virilio having compared most reliable statistics on the number of tweetsper day 5) it is reasonable to assume that Twitter produces an average of 2600individual tweets per second. 6) The estimated average length is 70 characters at 8 bit rate that is 2600 X 70 X 8 = 1.456.000 bits per second! 7) @Paul Virilio IN SHORT: TWITTER CURRENTLY PRODUCES ABOUT THE sameAMOUNT OF DATA PER SECOND (1.456.000 bps) AS A CD PROVIDES PER SECOND 8> According to Isaac Hepworth, product partnership @ Twitter "In a sample of a million tweets sent from twitter.com on 3 January 2012, the mean length was 67.9 characters." 9) for a matter of simplification, let's fix 70 characters as tweet's average length [as in side A] 10) 70 micron is also about the size of grooves containing audio information on vinyl, not to mention 70 decibel which roughly indicates wax dynamics! 11) finally, about 70 rounds of a 45 rpm 12″ like this are necessary to complete each audio-tweet of 1 minute 40 seconds length 12) [it's true on "Tweet it!" there are also INTRO and OUTRO which only last 14 seconds and are not 140(0) bpm) 13) @ Paul Virilio this record is an audio transposition of Twitter informational stream, whose dromology appears to be numerically connected (140, 70, 14, etc.) to cd and vinyl format. 14) OUTRO #How does Twitter sound?

Rare & good mixture of hardtek and hardcore from Cavage. One of the last releases by Saoulaterre that is still available. NDE was one of those Cavage offshoot labels with just one release. All of them are definitely worth seeking out! Note that the snippets might not be in the right order.

Already the fourth release on Meta4. This release contains an unexpected collaboration between Tieum & Ophidian. 4 raw tracks with influences from both producers. Rough kicks by Tieum and cool effects and edits by Ophidian.

The Outside Agency reunites with Scottish rebel Fracture 4 for this complex 11th (!) release on Genosha Recordings. Manhunt is an unrelenting 175 bpm hardcore track with strong drum & bass influences while Macrossed is a 9-minute symphony in several parts which manages to touch down on almost every genre immaginable: darkcore, breakcore, electro... it's all there! This first limited 10" release on Genosha Recordings is the first to feature a different sleeve design from what we're used to, runs inside out and has 12 useful locked grooves.
